Who is responsible for your data

Punta Homes, Inmobiliaria Registrada N° 1917, with its office at CASA OGA, Avenida Roosevelt y Budapest, Punta del Este, Uruguay, is responsible for the personal data collected on puntahomes.com. For anything about your data, write to contacto@puntahomes.uy.

What we collect

• What you give us when you write. When you enquire about a property, request a viewing, ask for an appraisal or write from the contact page, we collect what you fill in: your name, your email, your phone if you leave it, your message and, for an appraisal, the description and photos of your property.
• What your visit generates. What you search for, which properties you look at, save or compare, which page you message us on WhatsApp from, and the IP address and browser you visit with. None of it is tied to your name.

What we use it for

• To answer your enquiry, arrange a viewing or prepare the appraisal you asked for.
• To understand what visitors are looking for and improve the site.
• To measure which ads bring visits and enquiries, and to show you our ads on other sites and networks.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data or hand it to third parties for their own purposes. We work with technology providers that process it on our behalf and only for the purposes above: hosting the site, handling enquiries and sending confirmation emails. To measure our advertising we use tools from Meta and Google, which receive information about your visit and link it to their own cookies under their own privacy policies. When the site shows maps and photographs, your browser loads them from third-party servers, which receive your IP address as on any website.

Cookies and storage in your browser

• Your browser keeps the language you chose, your favourites and your comparison, and an anonymous identifier that lasts while the site is open.
• The measurement and advertising tools set their own cookies to recognise your browser between visits and attribute an enquiry to the ad that brought it. You can block or delete them in your browser settings; the site works the same.

How long we keep it

While we handle your enquiry and for as long as the law requires. Browsing data is kept anonymously.

Your rights

Uruguay's Personal Data Protection Act (Law No. 18.331) gives you the right to access your data, correct it, update it, complete it or ask us to delete it. To exercise them, write to contacto@puntahomes.uy. If you believe we have not answered properly, you can file a complaint with the Unidad Reguladora y de Control de Datos Personales (URCDP), Uruguay's data protection authority.

Minors

The site is not aimed at people under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes to this policy

When something in this policy changes, we publish it on this page and update the date above.
